1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate, current information when creating or administering an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
If you create or manage an account for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. Account owners are responsible for managing team-member access and removing access when it is no longer needed.
2. Permitted use
You may use the service only for lawful rental-property purposes. You must not interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, submit malicious code, scrape data without permission, or use the platform in a way that infringes another person's rights.
You must comply with all applicable laws, including human-rights, accessibility, consumer-protection, privacy, advertising, and housing laws. You must not use the service to make, publish, or facilitate unlawful discriminatory preferences or restrictions.
3. Listings and user content
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the property details, photographs, documents, and other content that you submit. Listings must not be misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent, or unlawful. We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, applicable law, or the safety of the platform.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, and improve the service and publish your authorized listings. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide this licence.
4. Rental decisions
WWW.FOR-RENT.CA® provides a platform for rental information and property management. We are not a party to agreements between landlords, tenants, agents, or property managers, and we do not guarantee the availability, quality, legality, or suitability of a property or applicant. Users remain responsible for their own screening, compliance, and rental decisions.
Information provided through the service is not legal, financial, tenancy, or real-estate advice. Obtain independent professional advice before relying on information for a rental, screening, or compliance decision.
5. Fees and subscriptions
Paid features, where offered, are subject to the pricing and billing terms shown at purchase. Fees are due when stated and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. You may cancel a subscription through the available account tools; access to paid features may continue until the end of the current billing period.
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for applicable fees, taxes, and authorized renewals. You must keep your billing information current. We may suspend paid features for overdue amounts after reasonable notice where permitted by law.
6. Electronic communications
By creating an account or submitting an inquiry, you agree that we may send service-related notices, confirmations, security alerts, and other transactional communications electronically. Marketing communications will include the choices required by applicable law. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current.
7. Privacy and security
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You must use reasonable care when handling personal information obtained through the service and comply with applicable privacy laws. Do not upload sensitive information unless the service specifically requests it for a supported purpose.
8. Service availability
